59th Medical Wing prepares for MHS GENESIS

The 59th Medical Wing team members who are leading information technology preparations for MHS GENESIS pose for a group photo at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, Aug. 2, 2021. The 59th MDW is currently training personnel and preparing the infrastructure to deploy the Military Health System's new, modernized electronic health record - MHS GENESIS. MHS GENESIS improves data access and sharing of health information across the spectrum of military operations, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and civilian health care organizations and will become available to JBSA beneficiaries in January 2022.
